Hari ini, kami sangat teruja untuk merasmikan "kick off" bermulanya Pertandingan Video Firefox Flicks dengan pengumuman daripada para hakim kami dan hadiah-hadiahnya.

Dengan Pertandingan Video Firefox Flicks, kami menggalakan aspirasi oleh pembikin filem, pembikin animasi dan kreativity daripada seluruh dunia untuk menghasilkan dan hantar video pendek untuk mempromosikan dan mengajar pengguna mengenai isu-isu yang berkenaan kehidupan dalam talian sebagai privasi dan sekuriti, dan juga menimbulkan kesedaran tentang mengapa Firefox dibina dan keunikan Mozilla.

Edward Norton pernah berlakon dalam filem-filem berikut,  Primal Fear, Everyone Says I Love You, The People vs Larry Flynt,American History X, Rounders, Fight Club, Keeping the Faith, The Score, Death to Smoochy, Frida, Red Dragon, The 25th Hour, The Italian Job, Down in the Valley, The Kingdom of Heaven, The Illusionist, The Painted Veil, The Incredible Hulk, Pride & Glory and Leaves of Grass dan Stone.
 
Beliau pernah dicalonkan untuk dua Anugerah Akademi, untuk Primal Fear dan American History X, dan memenangi satu anugerah Golden Globe diikuti pelbagai anugerah-anugerah lain untuk lakonannya. Beliau menghasikan dan mengarah Keeping the Faith dan menghasilkan Down in the Valley (Pilihan Filem Festival Cannes), The Painted Veil, Leaves of Grass dan the documentary By The People: The Election of Barack Obama.

Robertson telah menghasilkan beberapa komedi-komedi terbaik daripada sedekad lepas. Couper Samuelson menjalankan syarikat produksi universal Jason Blum. Sehubungan itu, beliau bekerja untuk penerbit Brad Weston di Paramount, dimana belian menerbitkan the forthcoming Destination Wedding, filem pertama dimulakan oleh Paramount Insurge, sebuah studio divesyen bajet rendah. Beliau menyimpan 5 tahun di 2929, syarikat kewangan Mark Cuban, dimana beliau menerbitkan bersama We Own the Night, dilakonkan Joaquin Phoenix dan Mark Wahlberg bersama lain. Beliau memulakan kareernya sebagai pembantu dalam Motion Picture Department of the Creative Artists Agency.
 

Jeffrey Silver telah menghasilkan lebih daripada 30 ciri filem-filem, melalui produksi beliau syarikat Biscayne Pictures, dan usaha sama dengan Outlaw Productions. Dalam perjalanan kareer beliau, Silver telah menerbitkan kedua-dua studio dan produksi bebas, termasuk Tron: Legacy, Terminator: Salvation, 300, Training Day, The Santa Clause dan sekuelnya, dan siri TV, The Wonder Years, dan banyak lagi.

Ben Silverman ialah penerbit eksekutif daripada Pemenang Emmy Award-NBC komedi The Office dan Pemenang Gloden Globe komedi Ugly Betty, juga pembikin kerjasama dan penerbit eksekutif daripada hit pertandingan realiti The Biggest Loser for NBC dan secara kritikal diakui siri-siri The Tudors for Showtime, juga sebagai penerbit eksekutif daripada VH1’s Mob Wives ada yang akan datang NBC hit Fashion Star.
 
Sebelum ini, Silverman telah bekerja sebagai Pengerusi Bersama daripada NBC Entertainment dan Universal Media Studios,mengasaskan produksi dan pengeluar syarikat Reveille, menguruskan sebuah syarikat antarabangsa divisyen pembungkusan di William Morris Agency (WMA), berkhidmat Naib Presiden untuk New World/Marvel Entertainment dan beberapa jawatan di CBS dan Warner Bros.

Eilmu Technopreneurs & Innovation Fair 2012 is and initiative to promote and catalyze new comercial products and services from the Malaysian minds. The event aims to create an awareness in the public of the available Government initiatives in facilitating Malaysian thinkers, innovators, creatives and inventtos to design and develop their ideas from concept to commercialization.

We glad receiving invitation from event organizer, Mr Zahir from TM Ads. We got booth for Mozilla and slot for talk session. We planning all preparation in the etherpad

These 2 days is our first experience for Mozilla Malaysia Community to promoting Mozilla Project into public. Most the attendee coming to our booth happy and supportive for us. We giving awareness regarding Mozilla and Open Web!

We spread all awesome swag from Mozilla and creating contest and quiz session.

1. "Pimp your smartphone with Firefox Mobile!" The contest is simple, who participate the contest with installing Firefox Mobile in their android, they will win the Mozilla Camp Asia 2011 Tshirt!

Pembatalan kepercayaan terhadap DigiCert Sdn. Bhd Autoriti Sijil Pertengahan

Isu

Entrust, Inc.,
Sebuah autoriti persijilan dalan program akar Mozilla, telah memberitahu kami mengenai  salah satu subordinat  CA, sebuah syarikat rakyat Malaysia, DigiCert Sdn Bhd, telah menerbitkan 22 sijil dengan kunci yang lemah. Sementara itu, tiada indikasi yang mereka terbitkan secara penipuan, Kesemua kunci yang lemah telah membenarkan sijil-sjil untuk bertolak ansur. Justeru itu, sijil-sijil daripada CA ini mengandungi beberapa isu-isu teknikal. Ia mempunyai kekurangan satu sambungan EKU  untuk mengenal pasti apa dimaksudkan kegunaannya dan ia telah bertolak ansur tanpa pembatalan informasi.
Ini bukan isu khusus Firefox. Walau bagaimanapun , memandangkan kebimbangan kami tentang amalan-amalan teknikal autoriti sijil ini, kita berniat untuk membatalkan amanah dalam DigiCert Sdn. Bhd. autoriti sijil pertengahan

DigiCert Sdn. Bhd ialah satu subordinate syarikat rakyat Malaysia dibawah Entrust and Verizon Verizon (GTE CyberTrust). Ia tidak membawa penggabungan apa-apa dengan perbadanan berasaskan Amerika Syarikat  DigiCert, Inc., yang merupakan seorang ahli program akar Mozilla.

Impak

Seorang penyerang boleh menggunakan satu daripada sijil-sijil lemah ini menyamar pemilik-pemilik sah. Ini boleh menipu pengguna-pengguna ke dalam laman-laman web boleh dipercayai atau perisian yang ditandatangani  muncul daripada pemilik-pemilik ini, tetapi sebenarnya mengandungi kandungan berniat jahat atau perisian. Sijil-sijil diperkatakan telah dikeluarkan bagi satu campuran laman-laman web kerajaan Malaysia dan sistem-sistem dalaman. Kami tidak percaya laman lain adalah berisiko.

Status

Mozilla telah membatalkan semua kepercayaan terhadap semua sijil-sijil yang diterbitkan oleh DigiCert Sdn. Bhd . dan dikemaskini dalam Firefox 8 akan datang  serta Firefox 3.6.24. Entrust telah terbitkan kenyataan mereka mengenai perkara itu.

Event : HackWeekend @ #HITBKUL2011

Inspired by the recently completed HackWeekend and GTUGKL hackathon, HackWEEKDAY is a 24-hour code off that runs alongside the 9th annual HITB Security Conference in Malaysia – Asia’s premier deep-knowledge network security event that routinely brings together some of the world’s leading security experts under one roof.

Kicking off at 13:37 on the 12th of October and ending a full 24-hours later on the 13th, we are inviting Asia Pacific coders from all walks of life to come together and work on open source security tools – Got an itch to write the next Firesheep plugin, new Maltego transforms or if you’re just a code junkie; we want you! You will get to hangout with HITB conference speakers and mingle around with the big names in security. It’s your chance to hack with the experts and learn from the best.

Registration is completely FREE and we have space for approximately 75 developers whether in teams or individuals. Food, drinks and copious amounts of bandwidth will be provided; just bring your own laptop, plug in and get your hack on! For further details, please see the #HackWEEKDAY sub page

I went to #hitbkul2011 to organize Mozilla Booth just for the first day of the event. With the help from @garfieldwtf & @amanfirdaus, everything went smoothly. This is my first experience running Mozilla booth. I'm glad to meet many people and asking interest on Mozilla stuff at booth.

I also prepare flyer to introduce the Mozilla Malaysia Community at the event.

Hi,

Actually today is one event, Software Freedom Day KL 2011 #sfdkl2011 will held at Universiti Kuala Lumpur (Unikl). The event is celebrating for open source software and appreciating the software.

Unfortunately, i got inconvenience issue which my work and meeting to settle up. But for sure i try to organize better the time. 

My friend from community, @antropos Hidzuan Hashim will conduct the session. I wish he will doing his great job and let fun with some "mysterious gift" after session.

He will talk about Mozilla Project include what Mozilla L10n Malaysia Team had done for localization project.

Orang lelong baik punya harga. Biasa la dah time hujung-hujung.

Laporan diterima daripada rakan agen shopping sekitar kl, sesak macam sardin. Biasa lah, wajah-wajah orang bergaji nak melaram. Tapi biarlah berpada.

Tahun ni aku hangin skit, kena kerja lusa dengan jumaat. Standby. Yelah, orang takde kampung ni begitu lah resminya. Meriah dengan jalan yang lengang, boleh bawak kereta tanpa stres.

Apa pun, aku ingin mengucapkan selamat hari raya aidilfitri. Maaf zahir batin buat semua sahabat handai yang mengenali aku serta orang tersayang dan teman-teman rapat. Kepada mereka yang balik kampung. Pulang lah dengan cermat. Semoga lebaran aidilfitri kali ni memberi kebahagiaan buat kita semua.

Rasa nya kali ni nak tulis dalam melayu lagi senang kot.

Syukur ramadhan kali ni macam-macam yang aku rasa nak buat semua jadi.

Aku tengah stres sebabnya kena standby kerja lak minggu depan. dem! untung la sesiapa yang ada kampung. Boleh perembat motor keliling kampung, standby meriam buluh. Tapi, apa boleh buat. Aku memang takde kampung pun.

Baju raya pun tak beli lagi. Macam normal selalu tempuh sesak di kawasan Masjid Jamek dengan famili aku. Tak pun ala-ala sesak tengah malam raya. Orang jual kasut krogz dalam tiga pasang sepuluh ringgit je malam tu.

Sejuk pulak menaip dalm ofis yang serupa kutub utara.

P/S : sebenarnya dari dulu lagi aku blog tp malas nak post, takut merepek je. Selalu jadi stalker blog orang je. Jenis kemahiran menaip panjang yang sangat lemah. Dah lah time sekolah karangan selalu tak siap.

I would to show with you my experience using narro for localization work. I m working for translation project firefox to bahasa melayu.

For my 1st experience working for this project, i just spend time to doing this at office when i have free time. I more using office pc because i got problem with my notebook.

I just discover that narro tool which using for this project are really flexible to use,

1. It can do anywhere.

2. No just pc that we could use, even mine using my small smartphone to accomplish the work. Example, you just go to our workspace website, https://l10n.mozilla.org/narro. Sign up for new user and select locale for Malay. Then, Select project, firefox aurora.

3. In my situation, i m using android phone. It couldnt be specific browser, example firefox because my android phone not supporting firefox. It based on armv6 which the project firefox mobile are discontinued for armv6. Just go to default browser and point to url.

As easy like you think! If you are iphone/ipad or other smartphone user, you may work to this project too.

There has two session, introduction talk session and sprint session

0700 Hours

- Wake up and prepare for out Me,@umarzuki and Arky @playingwithsid. From *Mozilla Base Camp* like Arky said, to MMU Cyberjaya.

0845 Hours

-Arrive at Faculty of Information Technology, MMU Cyberjaya.

0900 Hours

-Bring out bag of Mozilla Swag and straight to counter for registration. Surprisely, there are many crowd arrive before us. Haha. We quite late.

0945 Hours

- Me, Arky @playingwithsid and @umarzuki preparing for schedule time and place with organizer, poster and banner. We also stick the poster each wall for guide crowd to our place.

- Many barcampers comes to our 1st session and taking #Mozilla Swag too! 

1100 Hours

- 1st session, Introduction Talk by our mentor from Mozilla Team, Arky @playingwithsid and introducing team members of Mozilla L10n Malaysia Team, me and @umarzuki (@ho_hillary, @bizkutlimau and @haryatisalehin couldn't attend) .

- Break/Lunch
